What I'm looking for

Knowledge and understanding on a mechanics workshop is crucial

You don't have to be qualified but knowing what a control arm is and the difference between a CV joint and CV boot is crucial.

Your jobs will be centred around relationships, organisation and accountability.

Relationships - You will need to be a people person who can lead, coordinate and sell. We're all responsible for customer service, so you will need to be personable, customer focused and have good communication skills. However, you will lead customer service. Internal comms are essential.
Organisational - You'll be an office all rounder. Be competent and literate on a computer. Be comfortable with computer systems, administration and paperwork. You'll be the glue that joins the customers and the workshop together.
Accountability – you will be the managerial link into our external accountability areas like NZTA and OSH. And our internal accountability areas like H&S, accurate invoicing and stock takes.

As Office Manager you will have goal setting and productivity metrics to forecast for the office and metrics you will need to meet for the business.

Why work for me

In the same way I want you to grow our next mechanics, I want to grow you as a manager.

I have management experience. I managed a team of 16, and oversaw the research outcomes of 50 staff.
